we targeted sports fanatics by launching in New York during the NBA draft and in Seattle for MLB all-star weekend. in each location we partnered with local sports legends and renowned sellers who coached participants on how to be better collectors on and off the court through mental and physical drills.
The campaign garnered over 1.5 billion impressions.
We invited attendees to participate in mental and physical drills designed to to mimic eBay collector tools. In addition to becoming better collectors on and off the court we offered free merchandise, eBay gift cards, entrance into a raffle where they could win more surprise and delight giveaways, and an up close look at rare collectables available for auction on ebay.com.
In order to drive traction to collectables on ebay.com, we hosted an ebay live between seller, piece of the game, and hero talent mikal bridges. Here we auctioned off various collectables, including a ball mikal signed during the live which was auctioned with proceeds going to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
to support local seller, piece of the game, and offer rare NBA focused collectables, we created a landing page where we auctioned off playing cards and memorabilia.
