I started shooting in middle school when my mom first bought me a Canon point and shoot. I brought it everywhere, capturing my friends in weird moments. I’ve always been infatuated with helping people see themselves and other people for who they are when they remove their ego.
That same passion translated into a psychology degree and obsession with strangers. With what makes them who they are and how they intertwine with each other. I found my mom’s old Canon AE-1 around the same time and started to use street photography as a means to explore them.
In attempt to explore humans interaction with the system we all so willingly partake in, I moved to New York. My focus shifted to capturing people in intimate spaces as they push against and flow with the chaos.
Throughout this collection you will experience various expressions of those psychological obsessions.
